In some environments, particularly areas with heavy radio use, additional reassurance may be required that wireless microphones will not be competing for bandwidth within the shared spectrum. In these cases, dedicated and coordinated frequencies within Channel 38 can be assigned by Ofcom for a specific location and time.
These dedicated assignments are charged by Ofcom and must be arranged in advance. Where appropriate, this can be handled as part of the hire, so everything is prepared ahead of time.
